There is no contract to sign. Either party may terminate this agreement by giving to the other not fewer than fourteen days written notice.
Upon termination of agreement, any keys held by Kentish Maids Limited will be returned immediately on receipt of cleared payment of the final invoice.
Kentish Maids Limited employees will carry out all the cleaning tasks as discussed previously on each visit. Variations to the specified tasks may be made by using the Contact Book supplied by Kentish Maids Limited.
We will endeavour to meet the commitment of all scheduled visits, however it may, on occasion, be necessary to change the scheduled time or day to another convenient to the client.
Kentish Maids Limited guarantees any cleaning task not carried out to the client's satisfaction will be redone promptly at no additional charge. Kentish Maids Limited must be made aware of any dissatisfaction within one business day of the original clean
Kentish Maids Limited require at least two working day's notice of cancellation or postponement. If fewer than two working day's notice is received there may be a cancellation charge. The client agrees to pay in full for any visit cancelled by them on the day of the clean. This includes visits aborted by our employees when unable to gain access to the home due to being locked out.
When the client goes on holiday Kentish Maids Limited will offer a no fee cancellation of regular cleans falling due, provided at least 5 days notice is given. Kentish Maids Limited reserves the right to charge a fee for any cancellation giving fewer than 5 days notice.
If your cleaning visit falls on a Bank Holiday every effort will be made to re-schedule your visit but this cannot be guaranteed.
Kentish Maids Limited agrees to keep keys and other client information secure and confidential.
The client agrees not to hire any Kentish Maids Limited employee during, or until 90 days after termination of cleaning services. If employment is taken up within 90 days Kentish Maids Limited will make an introduction fee to the client of £1,000.
In the event of a breakage or accident any claim must be notified to Kentish Maids Limited within 24 hours of the cleaning visit. In these circumstances, the maid will leave a note informing the client of any such breakage or accident.
All regular clients will be invoiced monthly on the last working day and payment is requested within 7 days from that date. We reserve the right to withhold cleaning services if the client’s account is not settled in full by the due date.
For one-off cleaning, payment is required on the day in cash or if other payment methods are used prior to this day. Please contact Kentish Maids Limited for clarification.
Methods of payment include cheque, payable to Kentish Maids Limited and sent to our office; on-line bank payment direct into our account; or by credit or debit card through Paypal.
Our one-off cleaning does not include professional window cleaning, oven cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning.
The customer agrees to notify Kentish Maids Limited if any person in the household is suspected of contracting an infectious disease. Notification must be at least 24 hours before a scheduled visit. Kentish Maids Limited reserves the right to cancel in such circumstances.
Any pets liable to bite, scratch or intimidate the Kentish Maids Limited employee must be secured away during the clean.
Our employees are under strict instructions not to clean animal, including rodent droppings, or human faeces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing or other similar hazards. Our employees are instructed to leave any room containing offending items and to inform Kentish Maid Limited.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect the client's statutory rights.
Kentish Maids Limited is committed to ensuring your right to privacy and complies fully with all data protection principles and requirements as set out in UK legislation. We will only use your details for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your instructions and will never knowingly pass them to a third party unless we are required to do so by law.
